The new power from TELE comes in a slim 17,5mm wide housing which fits perfectly into nearly every power distribution panel.
The output can continuously switch 16A with an inrush current of 120A without any lifetime reduction. In addition, its operation is almost noiseless thanks to a modern relay design with very low mechanical mass allowing switching of high currents without generating noise. That's really an asset for the use in hotels and living areas.


The newly designed high power relay E1K16A from Tele Haase Steuergeraete fits perfectly for switching the complete room electric supply in hotel rooms. LED lamps, flat screens and charging devices for mobile phones and tablets are most common in every hotel room today. Coupling relays help save energy and reduce CO2 emissions but they are usually equipped with switching power supplies  with a large capacitor in the input circuit.
If using central power switching devices, like hotel card systems, the high inrush current caused by the switching power supplies normally overloads these contactors.

The new E1K16A was designed to switch large inrush currents and brings additional value with its compact size and very low noise level.
