The AKKUTEC 2412 VdS is a high-performance DC-UPS system designed for applications where power continuity, safety, and reliability are essential. With its VdS certification, this solution is ideally suited for use in fire detection systems, security technology, and demanding industrial environments.
The unit delivers a stable 24 V DC output at 12 A and is equipped with active power factor correction (PFC) for efficient energy usage. Microcontroller-based battery management enables intelligent charging with temperature compensation and comprehensive battery diagnostics, including internal resistance, capacity, and battery power measurement.
A key enhancement of this new generation is the modern USB-C interface, allowing easy monitoring, configuration, and diagnostics via software. In addition, the AKKUTEC 2412 VdS supports autonomous start-up directly from the battery, even in the complete absence of mains voltage (black-out start function). Its low internal power consumption, high efficiency, and reduced heat dissipation contribute to a long service life and minimal maintenance requirements.
