The Energy-230 D40 is a DIN-rail energy meter designed for measuring active energy in single-phase electrical installations. It supports bidirectional energy measurement, accurately recording both energy imported from the grid and energy exported back to the grid.
With a direct connection up to 40 A, the meter can be installed without current transformers. This makes it suitable for energy monitoring applications and installations with local energy production such as photovoltaic systems.
The device features a backlit LCD display showing measurement values including total energy, partial energy and instantaneous power. Menu navigation and parameter configuration are performed via the front keypad.
The meter includes four independent energy counters to separately measure total and partial energy for both imported and exported energy. Dedicated pages also display instantaneous power and power factor.
For integration with external monitoring systems, the meter is equipped with an opto-isolated pulse output (1 pulse = 5 Wh) for remote counting or energy management.
