The R-KEY-LT-C, Z-KEY-C, and Z-KEY-2ETH-C are industrial ModBUS-to-Cloud gateways designed to securely connect automation systems, devices, and networks with IT and IoT platforms. They collect data from ModBUS RTU/ASCII/TCP-IP buses and transmit it to major industrial cloud services using MQTT(s) or HTTP(s) protocols, with TLS 1.2 encryption and X.509 certificates ensuring maximum data security. The three models differ in the number of serial and Ethernet ports, yet share the same reliability, robustness, and operational flexibility.
Thanks to Flex technology, the gateways can dynamically switch communication protocols, ensuring full compatibility with Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, and many other ecosystems — without any hardware changes.
In addition to the ModBUS-to-Cloud bridge function, they integrate a datalogger, shared ModBUS memory, If-Then-Else logic, up to 300 TAGs, and 100 logic rules for local automation and alarm management.
An intuitive web interface, easy setup through EASY SETUP 2, SDD, and SESC, along with the Easy Cloud feature, provide flexible management, instant scalability, and seamless integration in telecontrol, energy monitoring, and smart manufacturing applications.
