The RI-CT230-EW is a three-phase current transformer within the easywire® range and is available in six different frame sizes.
It is designed for direct mounting beneath MCBs with a 17.5 mm spacing between aperture centres. The easywire® system can reduce installation time by up to 90% compared to traditional current transformer and meter installations.
This transformer is suitable for industrial and commercial applications and is specifically designed for connection to easywire® metering products.
Integrated limiting circuitry ensures the secondary is always under load and clamped to a safe level. This allows the output to be safely disconnected while the primary remains energised.
Enhanced design features include a robust snap-on DIN rail fixing, sealable (anti-tamper) RJ45 sockets and moulded load direction arrows on the CT housing.
The housing design allows multiple current transformers to be mechanically interlinked, enabling monitoring of multiple three-phase circuits.
