The LOVATO Electric PMIC23K50 is a dual-channel insulation monitoring device (IMD) designed for continuous monitoring of insulation resistance in unearthed DC IT systems. With a maximum monitored voltage of 1500VDC, it is specifically intended for Megawatt Charging System (MCS) applications and other high-voltage DC charging infrastructures. The integrated graphical display provides immediate access to measured values, operating status and configuration parameters. Its built-in RS485 Modbus RTU communication interface enables seamless integration with PLCs, HMIs and energy management systems. Each channel provides three SSR outputs for Ready, Warning and Fault status, together with programmable digital inputs and a 12...24VDC auxiliary supply. Its compact 4-DIN enclosure requires no spacing between adjacent devices, maximizing panel space while simplifying installation. The PMIC23K50 complies with IEC/EN 61557-8, IEC/EN 61557-18 (draft) and IEC 61851-23, making it an ideal solution for next-generation high-power DC charging systems.
